The whisky's composition consists of 80% bourbon casks, 10% sherry casks, and 10% red wine casks.

When nosing the Springbank Vintage 1994 Single Malt Scotch Whisky, one perceives notes of pineapple, mango, melon, honey, and sandalwood. The taste offers notes of caramelized citrus, vanilla cream, mango, pineapple, oak, and toffee.
