Highland Park Cask Strength Heather is a Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Orkney, an island group northeast of the Scottish mainland, where the climate is cool and windy for most of the year.
The heather used (Heather in English) is local to Hobbister Moor in Orkney, and it has been smoked to create the classic Highland Park smoky note. The whisky has been matured in first-fill European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks, and bottled at a cask strength of 63.6%.
Highland Park Cask Strength Heather Single Malt Scotch Whisky offers notes of marshmallows, macadamia nuts, "brandy butter" dessert, oak spices, and peat smoke.

The Highland Park distillery is located on the Orkney Islands and is among the world's northernmost whisky distilleries. The whisky is slightly smoky, as it primarily uses its own malted barley, which is subsequently smoked with local heather peat.
