Springbank 10 Year Old whisky provides the perfect introduction to the Springbank range. Matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, it is complex yet perfectly balanced from the first sip to the sweet, salty finish.
Springbank 10 Year Old whisky has a light amber color and an aroma of a gentle Kintyre coastal breeze, filled with damp peat, revealing that this is one of Campbeltown's finest whiskies. Added to this are scents of fresh fruit, orange peel, heather, and honey, blending with notes of malt and vanilla.
The taste offers equal parts complexity and strength with an oily mouthfeel and plenty of spice, pepper, nutmeg, and cinnamon. The fresh fruit and malt notes from the aroma continue, providing balance and character. Sweet salted caramel, toffee, and drying peat round off this signature malt.
As the only distillery in Scotland, they malt all the barley they need themselves. No coloring is ever added, and the whisky is not chill-filtered. Springbank 10 Year Old whisky won first place in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2014. NOTE: max. 1 bottle per customer. 46% – 70cl.
