Plantation Isle of Fiji Rum Double Aged Rum
Planteray (formerly "Plantation") Isle of Fiji Rum is a double-aged rum from the Pacific Distillery on the Pacific island of Fiji. The rum is molasses-based and after an initial tropical ageing in ex-bourbon barrels, Plantation Isle of Fiji rum has undergone a second ageing in ex-cognac barrels at Ferrand in France. There are almost always some Jamaican notes to Fiji rum, and this is also true here (especially on the nose). The taste reveals notes of, among other things, exotic fruits and raisins. 16 grams of sugar have been added to this Planteray Isle of Fiji rum, which can therefore be categorised as medium sweet. 40% - 70 cl.
