Old St. Croix XO Reserve Superior Cask
Old St. Croix (formerly "A.H. Riise") XO Reserve Superior Cask is created as a tribute to one of the most prominent and entrepreneurial Danes, Pharmacist and Councillor of State Albert Heinrich Riise, who lived and worked in the former Danish West Indies from 1838 to 1878. Albert Heinrich Riise became the first pharmacist on St. Thomas. By Royal Resolution in 1838, he obtained the privilege to operate a pharmacy in the capital Charlotte Amalie in the Danish West Indies, where he also produced and sold his own rum. A. H. Riise died on October 18, 1882, and is buried in Frederiksberg Assistens Kirkegård. A.H. Riise was a Knight of Dannebrog and bore the Swedish Order of Vasa.
Old St. Croix (formerly "A.H. Riise") XO Reserve Superior Cask is from the Caribbean, and it is hand-blended from several different distillates. First, cool mint is smelled on top of caramel and leather, followed by a hint of citrus. The taste is full-bodied eucalyptus, plum-filled tarte tatin, and a touch of white tea with bergamot.

As of June 13, 2025, the name has been changed from A.H. Riise to Old St. Croix. Previously, the products could be classified as rum, but as of May 25, 2021, new EU legislation came into force, stating that rum must not contain more than 20 grams of product for sweetening per liter.
