This whisky is crafted using techniques and skills developed within the walls of the Islay distillery, shielded from prying eyes and stubbornly guarded against competitors. 

It is their richest expression, drawing from an archive of the rarest whiskies found in Laphroaig's Atlantic warehouse. A complex blend of single malts aged from seven to 21 years. Enriched with vibrant characters from former Bourbon, European oak, and Oloroso sherry casks, as well as Quarter Casks. Every sip takes you on a journey through different eras on the island of Islay, revealing powerful aromas of peat smoke and sea spray, as well as hints of chocolate and spices. Laphroaig Lore has a shimmering golden colour, a characteristic appearance achieved through exposure to various wood types and maturation levels. As you approach the glass, you are met with a powerful scent of peat smoke and coastal mineral notes, with a subtle hint of ash and chocolate. With the first sip, the whisky reveals its lively character with hints of bitter chocolate, ash, and a spicy chili bite dancing on the tongue.
