Don Q Gran Reserva Anejo XO is a rum from Puerto Rico, produced by Destilleria Serralles, a family-owned, very modern, and environmentally friendly rum distillery. The distillery currently has over 100,000 barrels of rum in stock, making it one of the largest in the Caribbean. The name Don Q comes from the famous "Don Quixote," which was the Serralles family's favorite book. Here you get the Don Q Gran Reserva Anejo XO edition, which, after distillation, has matured for between 9 and 12 years in American white oak barrels. It contains both light and heavy rum distillates – including solera rum, which has aged for over 50 years in sherry casks. The rum has a beautiful balance between sweet and dry flavor notes, and the taste of caramel and vanilla is both round and complex. Don Q falls under the "Spanish rum style," which is usually sweeter, but this is an unsweetened rum, the distillery's pride. Comes in a gift box. 40% – 70 cl.
