This particular Cane Island 5-year-old rum is a Single Estate Rum from Thailand, a country that actually produces a lot of rum, but unfortunately not many of them make their way to Denmark. In fact, the rum is lovely, fresh, and fruity with notes of vanilla and tobacco, among others.

The term "Single Estate" means that this rum comes from only one distillery and is therefore not a blend from various distilleries. The 5 years of tropical aging mean that, due to the rapid maturation in the heat, the rum is quite complex and well-balanced.
