The rum is a minimum of 12 years old, which is a long time when it comes to tropical aging. The entire aging process took place in American white oak barrels.
When you smell and taste this Cane Island Single Estate Rum Nicaragua 12-year-old rum, notes of vanilla, dark caramel, leather, and cigar are perceived. The aftertaste is long and complex.
