A1710 Beast of Fire Extraordinarily White Rum
A1710 Bête à Feu Rhum Blanc Extraordinaire rum is named after the firefly, which also adorns the label, and which can often be seen above the sugarcane fields at sunset at A1710. A1710 was founded in 2016 and is already known for producing the island's best white rum. Bête à Feu Rhum Blanc Extraordinaire is made from fresh sugarcane juice and distilled in the distillery's pot still, named 'la Belle Aline'. It is a single copper pot combined with a smaller column with seven copper plates. The rum has been slowly reduced and bottled at 50.9% ABV. It tastes of fresh sugarcane, honey, pear, flowers and pepper with a mineral aftertaste, making it excellent for cocktails. A1710 Bête à Feu has won several awards, including double gold at the Caribbean Rum Awards in 2020 and World’s Best Agricole & Sugar Cane Juice at the World Rum Awards in 2021. 50.9% - 70 cl.

The distillery is named after the year 1710, when Jean Assier arrived (the 'a' stands for "arrivé") in Martinique and founded Habitation du Simon, where his descendant Yves Assier de Pompignan opened the distillery in 2016.
