Renegade

Renegade Rum Distillery is a new, ambitious rum distillery on the Caribbean island of Grenada. The brand is spearheaded by Mark Reynier, who has an innovative and ambitious approach to spirits. He has brought the concept of terroir, known from wine, into rum production, so that the rum is bottled according to the type of sugarcane it is made from and the farm where the sugarcane was grown. The first drops were distilled in 2020, and while some of the rum has been laid down for barrel aging, some of it has now been released as pre-cask, i.e., raw, unaged rum, which already possesses its own distinctive character thanks to its terroir and distillation method. And most importantly: it tastes really good!
