Worthy Park Single Estate 12 Year Old Rum
Worthy Park Single Estate 12 Year Old Rum is 100% distilled in a copper Pot still. The rum is then tropically aged for 12 years in ex-American White Oak Ex-Bourbon casks. It is bottled at 50% ABV. Worthy Park Single Estate 12 Year Old Rum is non-chill filtered, and you will find no sugar or other additives in the bottle.
Imagine standing 1,200 feet above sea level, overlooking more than 9,000 acres of lush foliage, a mix of sugarcane fields and natural forests. Breathtaking valleys unite the rolling mountain ranges that stand guard over stalks of sugarcane swaying in the cool mountain breeze. This is Worthy Park Estate. Their sugar factory has been producing sugar and molasses with undiminished strength since 1720; and this very same molasses is used for the distillation of all their rum.
Initial aroma notes of banana and oak with brine, olive, citrus, vanilla and a smoky combination of tobacco and leather underscored with a mild sweet note. The mild sweetness continues in the taste along with honey, banana, citrus, caramel and oak. A long finish with notes of leather and tobacco. 50% – 70 cl.

Worthy Park
For many years, the Worthy Park Estate distillery primarily exported their rum, but gradually a number of Worthy Park bottlings are now being released directly from the distillery. Worthy Park uses molasses in their production, and the rum is distilled in copper pot stills. Among Worthy Park's own bottlings, one can find Rum Bar Overproof, Single Estate Reserve, and a range of limited Special Cask Double Maturation Releases such as Oloroso, Madeira, Sherry, and Port.
