Warehouse #1, located in Prague, Czech Republic, specialises in quality spirits such as rum, whisky, cognac, and more. They have also created their very own series of rums, naturally also called Warehouse #1. Or, as it says on the label: "WRHS#1".
This Warehouse #1 TECA rum from Long Pond Distillery is part of the Rums of Jamaica Legendary Marques rum series, which consists of high-ester editions from several of Jamaica's legendary distilleries. The series also includes MLC (from Clarendon), WPE (from Worthy Park), DOK (from Hampden), and NYE-WK (from New Yarmouth).
The Warehouse #1 Legendary Marques TECA single cask rum is fermented with "dunder", pot still distilled, continentally aged for 4 years in a Virgin Oak cask, and has an ester content of 1,200 – 1,300 g/hlpa. In the aroma and taste, you will find classic "Jamaica funk" as well as notes of overripe banana, papaya, mango, olives, and pepper.
