Torabhaig Legacy Series 2nd Edition Allt Gleann Single Malt Whisky

Torabhaig, owned by Mossburn Whisky Distillers & Blenders, is a brand new distillery on the Scottish Isle of Skye, otherwise known for the classic Talisker single malt whisky. Torabhaig was founded in 2013, they started distilling in 2017, and their first ever batch was bottled at the end of 2020. Torabhaig is the first distillery built on the Isle of Skye in 190 years. They distill in copper pot stills, and have chosen to ferment in traditional wooden vats, exactly as was done in olden times. The first editions of Torabhaig Single Malt are called "2017 The Legacy Series", and the 1st Release sold out in 1.5 hours in March 2021. Now the 2nd Release has just arrived in Denmark, again in very limited quantities. The 3rd is expected to be released in 2024, the 4th in 2026, and the 10-year edition will be released in 2028. Torabhaig Legacy 2017 Allt Gleann Isle of Sky Malt Whisky 2nd Release has an aroma of spicy peat, hessian, tobacco, mint, orange and chalk, among other things. The taste offers notes of soot, barley husk, wood smoke, salt, fennel, tobacco, menthol and light peat, among other things. 46% ABV - 70 cl.
