The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky
The Balvenie single malt whisky 12-year DoubleWood is transferred after cask maturation to large oak vats, where the whisky further matures and 'marries' over 3-4 months. The casks and processes contribute to giving the whisky a complex and fruity character. Scent: sweet fruit and Oloroso sherry with notes of honey and vanilla. Taste: nutty sweetness and cinnamon, sherry and a long, warming aftertaste. 40% - 700 ml.

Balvenie
The Balvenie whisky distillery, located in Dufftown in the Speyside region, is a neighbour to Glenfiddich and dates back to the 1890s. The distillery still carries out its own malting, where the germinating barley is turned by hand. Balvenie single malt whisky is primarily matured in American bourbon casks, while certain variants are finished in European oak sherry casks. The whisky is often characterised as full-bodied with notes of honey.
