Takamaka Overproof Rum is a rum from the tropical and beautiful island of Seychelles, where Takamaka Rum produces both rum and liqueur at the Trois Freres Distillery.
Takamaka Rum was founded in 2002 by local brothers, Richard and Bernard d’Offay, who wanted to create a rum that captured the soul of Seychelles. Takamaka is now available in more than 35 markets worldwide, and thanks to their innovation and quality, they are growing rapidly and have also won many prestigious awards. In fact, Takamaka's Master Blender, Steven Rioux, was also named Blender of the Year 2024 by The Spirits Business Awards.
Takamaka Overproof Rum represents the honest, raw character of classic white rum. Due to its alcohol strength, it delivers high intensity with strong and warming undertones. The rum has notes of citrus, vanilla, banana, and grass. Takamaka Overproof Rum can be enjoyed/tamed with fresh lime and sugar, or it can give your tropical cocktail a kick.
