Stauning Harvest Double Malt Whisky

Stauning Harvest Whisky combines the best of Danish rye and barley, aged in American oak barrels with a touch of port wine casks. This combination offers exquisite finesse, smoothness, balance, and the characteristic Stauning character, resulting in an extraordinarily well-balanced whisky with broad appeal – both enthusiasts and those beginning their journey into the world of whisky will enjoy this dram.

A smooth and balanced flavour profile with fruity and delicate notes of vanilla, citrus, honey, caramel, apple, and red berries.

Stauning's whisky range includes a wide selection of flavour profiles and styles, including spicy rye, robust cask-strength malt, smoked single malt, and complex dark whisky for the late hours. However, they felt they were missing a mild and delicate all-round whisky. So, after numerous trials and blind tastings, they settled on a combination of equal parts malted rye whisky and single malt whisky.

It can be enjoyed neat or as a Danish touch in whisky-based cocktails. 40.5% ABV - 70 cl.
