This very special Stauning Whisky of Denmark Aged 10 Years Peat Smoked Single Malt is also a "Stauning 20th Anniversary Edition". The anniversary edition celebrates the beginning of Stauning Whisky in 2005, when the nine entrepreneurial friends started whisky production in an old slaughterhouse.

Stauning 20th Anniversary Edition Whisky is based on equal parts smoked and unsmoked single malt, aged for a minimum of 10 years in various specially selected casks. The cask split is as follows: 8 bourbon casks, 3 virgin oak casks, 2 port wine casks, and 1 sherry cask. This special cask mix has resulted in a complex, balanced, and characterful whisky.

The aroma offers fruity and rich notes of pear, apricot, grain, heather honey, and vanilla. The full-bodied and balanced taste reveals notes of tobacco, dried fruit, campfire smoke, and oak spices.

Stauning Whisky of Denmark Aged 10 Years is a limited edition with only 2005 bottles released – the same as the year Stauning was founded. 50.02% vol. - 70 cl.
