SBS Philippines 2019 Rum
SBS Philippines 2019 is a single cask rum based on molasses and distilled in a column still in 2019.
The rum has matured in both an ex-bourbon and virgin oak cask and was bottled at a strength of 57% ABV in August 2023. The rum is not chill-filtered, and no additives have been used.
The aroma is a refreshing blend of citrus notes, beautifully combined with the sweetness of caramel and vanilla. Subtle woody undertones add extra depth to the profile. When you taste it, you will first notice a light caramelised sweetness, which is quickly complemented by a wealth of dried fruits. This is accompanied by the warm and rich taste of bourbon vanilla.
SBS Philippines 2019 is limited to only 312 bottles. Exclusively bottled for the Danish market. 57% - 70 cl.

SBS stands for Single Barrel Selection, and this series of rums is produced by the Danish rum importer, 1423 ApS, who are also behind brands such as Ron Esclavo. The SBS Rum releases are generally unsweetened (without added sugar), non-chill filtered, and at a higher alcohol strength (some of the SBS rum bottlings are even bottled at cask strength).
