SBS Panama 2010 Rum

SBS Panama 2010 is a single cask rum, based on molasses and distilled in a column still in 2010.

The rum has matured in both ex-Bourbon and virgin oak casks and was bottled at a strength of 55% vol in August 2023. The rum is not chill-filtered, and no additives have been used.

The aroma opens with a refreshing scent of green apples, immediately complemented by a harmonious blend of various dried fruits. Additionally, a delicate touch of almonds enriches the profile. On the palate, a combination of spicy, woody elements is beautifully balanced with notes of sweet caramel. This tasting experience culminates in a persistent and delicately dry finish.

SBS Panama 2010 is limited to only 419 bottles. Exclusively bottled for the Danish market. 55% - 70 cl.

SBS stands for Single Barrel Selection, and this series of rums is produced by the Danish rum importer, 1423 ApS, who are also behind brands such as Ron Esclavo. The SBS Rum releases are generally unsweetened (without added sugar), non-chill filtered, and at a higher alcohol strength (some of the SBS rum bottlings are even bottled at cask strength).
