SBS Origin Jamaica WPH Rum
SBS Origin Jamaica WPH white rum is a new release in the SBS Origin series, which features unaged versions of well-known, aged rums and marks from the SBS series. The series offers the opportunity to taste the rum in its original form, before it has been aged in barrels. SBS Origin Jamaica WPH is a white rum from Jamaica, based on molasses, and was distilled in a pot still in 2021. Pot still distillation results in a powerful, flavourful and delicious rum, which is excellent for daiquiris, but can also be enjoyed neat. SBS Origin Jamaica WPH has aromas of freshly cut grass and tropical fruit, and continues to develop in the glass. It has flavours of exotic fruits, banana and fresh sugarcane juice, as well as plenty of Jamaican 'funkiness'. 57% - 70 cl.

SBS stands for Single Barrel Selection, and this series of rums is produced by the Danish rum importer, 1423 ApS, who are also behind brands such as Ron Esclavo. The SBS Rum releases are generally unsweetened (without added sugar), non-chill filtered, and at a higher alcohol strength (some of the SBS rum bottlings are even bottled at cask strength).
