SBS Origin Dominican Republic Aroma Grande rum is an unaged, white column-distilled rum from the Dominican Republic. The rum has an ester count of 500 gr/hl AA. SBS Origin Dominican Republic Aroma Grande has aromas of dried flowers, white pepper, and acetone, complemented by citrus peel and strong grapefruit notes. The taste offers plenty of citrus, marzipan, floral notes with a hint of lavender, and an oily mouthfeel with a long, dry finish. A superb rum to boost a daiquiri, neat or on the rocks. Not chill-filtered. 57% - 70 cl.

SBS stands for Single Barrel Selection, and this series of rums is produced by the Danish rum importer, 1423 ApS, who are also behind brands such as Ron Esclavo. The SBS Rum releases are generally unsweetened (without added sugar), non-chill filtered, and at a higher alcohol strength (some of the SBS rum bottlings are even bottled at cask strength).
