Rum Nation Rare Rums Versailles Whisky Finish 2004/2022 is a rum that was distilled on a wooden Versailles pot still in 2004 and, after long maturation, has gained further character with 4.5 years of finishing in Scotch whisky casks. This has resulted in a full-bodied rum with floral aromas of, among other things, chamomile and medicinal herbs with a hint of camphor and white pepper. Rum Nation Rare Rums Versailles 18-year Whisky Finish rum has flavor notes of beeswax, pepper, lemon peel, and fruit, but without funky esters, and a long aftertaste with notes of tea and chamomile. Limited release bottled in 2022 from casks no. 74, 95, and 97, totaling 972 numbered bottles. 59% - 70 cl.

Rum Nation was founded by Italian Fabio Rossi, who released his first rum in 1999, and Rum Nation is a so-called "independent bottler," as is also the case with, for example, Planteray (formerly Plantation).
