Rum Nation Panama Black Decanter 21 Years is a well-aged rum that maintains its freshness despite its age. It's not too heavy, and its fresh, smooth style is somewhat unusual for such an old rum. It remains stimulating and lively without too much influence from the wood. Rum Nation Panama Black Decanter 21 Years tasting notes. Nose: fresh and sweet at the same time. Taste: velvety smooth - not at all too sharp or too rich. Chocolate, candied orange, and orange liqueur. Dried figs and mixed tropical fruits. Very pleasant to drink. Finish: a little peppery in contrast to the softness. Moderate sweetness and lightness.
