Rum Nation Guatemala XO 20th Anniversary Edition Decanter
Rum Nation Guatemala XO 20th Anniversary Edition rum is made from a blend of the sweeter casks. The rum is made from sugar cane molasses and distilled in a column still. The rum is then aged for at least 4 years in ex-bourbon oak casks in the tropical climate near the Hondo River in Guatemala, and then given a second maturation in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for 16 months, in cooler warehouses in Italy. Here, the rum develops its vinous and fruity characteristics. Nose: Vanilla and raisin. Taste: Sweet and pleasant, almost nutty with a hint of honey, it is lingering and extremely delicate. The rum comes in a beautiful "decanter" bottle and gift box.
