Rombo Exclusive Cask Rum Panama 12 years
Rombo Exclusive Cask Rum Panama 12 Year is a delightful, natural (non-sweet), and complex rum from our own 40-liter cask in the Rombo store in Frederiksberg.
On March 25, 2025, we filled our 40-liter cask with Panama 12-year-old rum at 50% abv. The cask previously contained Venezuela rum and before that sherry, so it is technically a 2nd-fill sherry cask / 1st-fill (Venezuela) rum cask. The Panama rum will thus get an extra 8½ months in this truly unique cask.
We have continuously sampled from the cask, and now the Rombo Exclusive Cask Rum Panama 12 Year rum is ready to be bottled. This will take place on Saturday, December 13, where you can visit the Rombo store in Frederiksberg during opening hours (10 AM - 3 PM) to taste this unique rum, and where the bottle will also go on sale online at 10 AM for everyone else. The bottles will be filled on the day itself. Please note, for clarity, that bottles are sold while supplies last, and tasting is only available in the store as long as there is some left in the cask.
