Roku Sakura Bloom Edition Gin

Roku Sakura Bloom Edition Gin is the first release in the "Seasonal Festival Collection" series. The 2-week blooming of the Sakura tree in spring is an extraordinarily beautiful sight, and it is not only celebrated throughout Japan during the so-called Hanami ("flower viewing"), but also at the Copenhagen Sakura Festival.

Roku Sakura Bloom Gin's 6 botanicals are Sakura blossom (cherry blossoms), Sakura leaf (cherry leaf), Sencha tea (green tea), Gyokuro tea (refined green tea), Sanshō pepper and Yuzu (Citrus fruit). Roku Gin is also made from 8 other traditional gin botanicals such as juniper, orange peel, lemon peel, coriander, and cinnamon. The label itself is printed on Washi paper (Japanese paper). Roku Sakura Bloom Gin first tastes of Sakura blossom and leaves, before the traditional gin and slightly tannic tea notes take over. Citrus and fruity sweetness hide underneath and finish nicely with pepper notes.

Unlike the classic Roku Gin, Roku Sakura Bloom Edition Gin has a higher content of Sakura blossoms and is therefore a little more floral and salty. 43% – 70cl.
