Port Charlotte 10-year-old Heavily Peated is a single malt whisky from Bruichladdich on the island of Islay. Port Charlotte 10-year-old whisky is made from 100% Scottish Barley from the Inverness-shire region and is matured in 1st fill American Whiskey Casks (65%), 2nd fill American Whiskey Casks (10%), and 2nd fill French Wine Casks (25%). The nose reveals notes of oak, smoke, caramel, vanilla, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and citrus. Port Charlotte 10 YO Heavily Peated Islay Single Malt Whisky has a taste with notes of smoke, coconut, vanilla, honey, and salt, while the finish offers smoke, caramel, mango, orange, and apricot. 50% ABV - 70 cl.

Bruichladdich Distillery
The Bruichladdich distillery, located on the island of Islay, was founded in 1881, and after closing down in 1995, the distillery has reopened. With Master Distiller Jim McEwan at the helm, they have experimented with a variety of peated and non-peated whisky variants. Bruichladdich The Laddie Ten and Rocks are examples of un-peated whisky, while Port Charlotte An Turas Mor and The Peat Project are examples of peated single malt whisky from Bruichladdich.
