Pimm's No. 1
Pimm's No. 1 is a fruity and summery gin-based liqueur that became popular throughout the British Empire after being served at Queen Victoria's luncheons.
Today, Pimm's is still the epitome of English summer and is primarily used to make the famous, light Pimm's cocktail, which is associated with English high society and is a staple at the Wimbledon tennis championships every year.
Pimm's has a reddish tea-like color and tastes of herbs, caramelized orange, and warm spices. Typically, Pimm's is mixed with lemonade or ginger ale and various fresh garnishes such as cucumber, strawberries, mint, apple, orange.
