In the northernmost part of Scotland, in the fishing town of Wick, lies Old Pulteney's "maritime whisky" distillery facing the North Sea. Old Pulteney 16 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been partly matured in ex-bourbon casks and partly in Spanish oak casks. The aroma offers notes of honey, vanilla, spices, fruit, and chocolate, among others. Old Pulteney 16 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky offers flavor notes of Christmas cake, green apples, and toffee, among others. 46% - 70 cl.

Old Pulteney
The Old Pulteney distillery, located in the Highland region, is the northernmost distillery on the Scottish mainland. Old Pulteney was founded in 1826 and is today owned by Inver House Distillers. The most well-known whisky in the series is the Old Pulteney 12-year-old single malt scotch whisky, and a range of older variants up to 40 years old are also produced.
