Nyborg Christmas Akvavit
Nyborg Akvavit Jul is a wonderful caraway aquavit that has undergone an extensive aging process before being released as the finished Christmas aquavit. First, the caraway aquavit has aged for at least a year in used bourbon barrels, then in Nyborg Destilleri's own Isle of Fionia whisky barrels, then in Ørbæk Stout barrels, and finally in Ørbæk Christmas Stout barrels.
When tasting Nyborg Akvavit Jul, fine, round and sweet notes of anise and orange are perceived. It is excellent for the Christmas table and for spicy food.
