Yoichi single malt whisky from Nikka's Yoichi distillery in Hokkaido, Japan, is made according to old Scottish traditions, entirely in line with founder Taketsuru's idea, and this means you get a whisky where attention to detail is paramount. Nikka Yoichi is made from malted barley and is characterized by its soft, full-bodied, intense, and creamy taste with notes of peat, salt, melon, kiwi, almonds, walnuts, and chocolate, among others. 45% - 70 cl.

Nikka Whisky Distilling Co. is owned by the Japanese Asahi Breweries and has 2 distilleries in Japan, one of which is located in Yoichi in northern Japan, and the other in Miyagikyo, north of Tokyo. The founder, Masataka Taketsuru, was trained in the art of whisky in Scotland in 1918-1920, and after returning to Japan, he started Nikka in 1934.
