With the Nikka Yoichi Discovery Non-Peated whisky, Nikka has created a fine representative of the easy-drinking, fruity, and elegant whisky style that its sister distillery, Miyagikyo, is otherwise known for. But with Nikka's new Discovery series, the roles are reversed, and Yoichi has set aside the smoke for a while and created a single malt that is fresh, fruity, and completely smoke-free. Nikka Yoichi Discovery Non-Peated has tasting notes of tropical fruit, honey, and apples, freshly ground coffee, and coconut, without being overly sweet. The whisky has a great taste and body and is not chill-filtered. PLEASE NOTE: This is a limited release with only 20,000 bottles worldwide. Therefore, we have set a limit of max. 2 bottles per customer. 47% - 70 cl.

Nikka Whisky Distilling Co. is owned by the Japanese Asahi Breweries and has 2 distilleries in Japan, one of which is located in Yoichi in northern Japan, and the other in Miyagikyo, north of Tokyo. The founder, Masataka Taketsuru, was trained in the art of whisky in Scotland in 1918-1920, and after returning to Japan, he started Nikka in 1934.
