Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky
Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky is made from pure spring water from the distillery's grounds, which has a low iron content. As regulations dictate, the bourbon contains a minimum of 51% corn. Additionally, Maker's Mark bourbon whisky contains red winter wheat, which provides a rounder and smoother taste. After distillation, the bourbon is aged in new American oak barrels for between 5½ and 6½ years, depending on temperature and humidity. Afterwards, 19 barrels are selected at a time for each production – the lowest number in American whiskey production. Once Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky has been bottled, the bottle is hand-dipped in its characteristic red wax. Everything about Maker's Mark is handmade, and no two bottles are alike. The sweetness in this bourbon is clearly noticeable – much more so than in other bourbons. Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky has a dark and golden copper color, while the aroma is sweet and intensely spicy with distinct notes of vanilla, caramel, and toasted nuts. Taste: sweet, smooth, and very mild with a long aftertaste. 45% – 70cl.

Maker's Mark
The Maker's Mark distillery is located in Loretto, Kentucky, USA. In 1958, Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was introduced, and it has always featured the red wax on the bottle's neck as its hallmark. In addition to a main ingredient of corn, which is required if it is to be formally called bourbon whiskey, many bourbon producers also use rye, but this is not the case for Maker's Mark, which instead bases its whiskey on corn and wheat.
