Macbeth First Ghost is one of six whiskies from ghost distilleries in The Apparitions series and is the only one in the first act of the Macbeth collection inspired by the Scottish play. The illustration was created by the renowned illustrator, Sir Quentin Blake. 

For The Apparitions series, the connection to closed ghost distilleries was obvious, and the choice of grain whisky offers a delicacy that enhances the ethereal qualities of these revelations. This is also evident in the first apparition to be revealed, a single grain scotch whisky aged 31 years, distilled at Cambus Distillery. 

The first ghostly apparition in the Macbeth collection is depicted by an elegant, mature single grain from the long-defunct Cambus Distillery. More than three decades in oak have given this old lowlander an ethereal profile of green fruits, vanilla cream, coconut milk and a hint of sweet anise. An excellent selection of casks by whisky producers Elixir Distillers truly brings this fateful character to life... So to speak.
