Inspired by Fresh Coconut afslører en kokos-note, man ellers sjældent finder i The Macallan whisky. Udover denne kokos fornemmes også noter af citrus, tropiske frugter, vanilje, sød egetræ og lime.

Den mere detaljerede forklaring på kokos-karakteren er, at man både har anvendt bourbonfade og "sherry seasoned" amerikanske egetræsfade med et højt niveau af laktose i træet.
