Lindores Lowland Single Malt Whisky
Lindores Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky not only has an incredibly long history, but it also undergoes an unusually long fermentation process of no less than 117 hours. After fermentation, Lindores distils the whisky on a "sister spirits still," which is actually two stills. This method provides twice as much contact with the copper, and together with the long fermentation, it gives the whisky extra layers of flavour and more character. After distillation, the whisky has matured in ex-bourbon, wine, and sherry casks. Lindores Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky offers aromas of vanilla, caramel, sweet pear, and caramelised apples. It has tasting notes of dried fruit, vanilla, and citrus with a lightly spiced hint. A soft, complex, and balanced Lowland whisky. 46% - 70 cl.
