Kyrö Rye Gin
Kyrö Gin is a Finnish gin from Kyrö Spirits, based on the Finnish heritage of spirit distillation. Kyrö Spirits exclusively uses Finnish whole-grain rye, which is characterized by a very intense flavor. When original botanicals such as sea buckthorn, cranberries, and birch leaves are added, the result is an exciting gin that has already taken Copenhagen's bars by storm. The gin is full of notes of herbs, citrus, and sweetness with hints of peppercorns on the tongue. Kyrö Napue Gin was named “The World’s Best Gin for Gin & Tonic” at the International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) in 2015 and 2016, and additionally, Napue won a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirit Competition in the "premium gin-series" category. In late 2019, it was decided to remove the name "Napue" from the label for their export markets to promote the Kyrö name instead, but it is still the same Kyrö (Napue) Gin as before. 42.6% - note: 50cl.

The story of the Finnish Kyrö Distillery Company naturally began in a sauna, where Mikko, Jouni, Miika, Miko, and Kalle were enjoying a rye whisky, while discussing whether the large quantities of rye in Finland could be used for whisky production. And they certainly believed it could.
