Kilkerran 8 Years Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky comes from Mitchell's Glengyle Ltd. in the Campbeltown region, where Glengyle Distillery was rebuilt and restarted in 2004. In fact, they are neighbours with Springbank Distillery, and some of the employees are shared with Springbank. This also means that Glengyle Distillery only produces its Kilkerran whisky 3 months a year.

The Kilkerran 8 Years Old Cask Strength whisky has been matured for a minimum of 8 years in bourbon casks, and it is bottled at 57.7% abv. with a light-to-medium smoky note.

The aroma offers notes of, among other things, toffee, custard cream, apple, and pear. The taste presents shortbread, caramel, chocolate, gooseberry, green grapes, and cigar smoke, while the finish adds honeydew melon, pepper, and ash.

Non-chill filtered - No Added Colouring.
