Jura 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is primarily aged in ex-bourbon casks, and additionally, the whisky has undergone a final maturation in used Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez in Spain. Jura 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky has aromas of chocolate, walnuts, and citrus, while the taste offers notes of honey, banana, brown sugar, and light smoke.

Jura single malt Scotch whisky is produced on the Isle of Jura, an island located in western Scotland and full of red deer (Jura, by the way, means "red deer island" in Old Norse). The distillery has a reputation for being one of the most beautiful in Scotland, and produces a range of lightly peated, different whisky variants, of which the most well-known is the Jura Origin 10-year-old single malt whisky.
