Jamaica Shared Single Cask Rum
Jamaica Shared Single Cask Rum is a "single cask rum" that was selected together with a number of wonderful customers who participated in Rombo's trip to 1423 ApS in autumn 2025 to taste rum and see the impressive warehouse with more than 2,000 casks.
This unique Jamaican rum was distilled at Worthy Park in 2022 as marque WPH (Worthy Park Heavy), which corresponds to an "ester count" of 240-360 gr/hL AA. After transport to Denmark, the rum was then laid down in a small 40-litre cask made of Danish oak in 2022 until the final bottling in December 2025. The rum is pot still distilled and made from sugarcane molasses.
Only 45 bottles of Jamaica Shared Single Cask Rum were bottled in total at 63.4% cask strength, and Rombo bought the remaining 33 bottles after the customers' shares. These are now being sold to others.
