Isle of Raasay Marsala Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky comes from the Isle of Raasay Distillery, which was named Scottish Whisky Distillery of the Year in 2022. The distillery is located in the Hebrides, a group of islands in western Scotland, and only 161 people live on the Isle of Raasay.
This Marsala Cask edition is a "limited release" that was distilled in 2021 and matured in used Marsala casks until 2025, when the whisky was bottled.
When enjoying this Isle of Raasay Marsala Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky, one perceives notes of light peat smoke, baked apples, apricot, and toffee.
