Isle of Raasay The Draam Single Malt Whisky

Raasay "The Draam" is a lightly peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the Isle of Raasay Distillery. The distillery, which produces unique whisky and gin, is located on the beautiful and storm-swept Hebrides. The rugged nature, the pure water, and the distillery's passion can be tasted in every bottle from this young distillery. Raasay Whisky is a Single Island Malt and a blend of peated and unpeated whisky, which is neither chill-filtered nor colored. All in all, a lightly peated whisky with delicious dark fruit nuances. Raasay Distillery exclusively uses Scottish barley for their whisky, and they exclusively use peat from the Scottish Highlands to dry the barley, which gives the whisky a gentle, fragrant smoke. At the distillery, they have a unique approach to maturing their New Make, as they divide it into two parts. One part is matured as "peated" and the other part as "unpeated". Their New Make contains 63.5% alcohol when it is put into casks according to their "Six Cask Story" principle, and the whisky is always matured on the island to achieve maximum influence from the Hebridean climate.
