Isle of Fionia Danish Oak Single Malt Whisky is aged in barrels made of Danish oak of the Quercus Robur variety (also known as common oak or pedunculate oak), and this gives a tannic and characterful whisky with notes of pear, honey, apricot, and nuts, among others.
