Highland Park's unique character is due to the peat used as fuel when drying the grain. This particular peat has absorbed salty waves for centuries and imparts a heathery note to the whisky. Highland Park Single Malt 18-year-old whisky is aged in oak casks for at least 18 years. Gradually, the whisky matures, and its fiery taste mellows, achieving an unusually smooth character. It is a careful and time-consuming process that guarantees this whisky reaches its perfection. Highland Park Single Malt 18-year-old whisky has a sparkling, golden colour. The aroma is fruity and lightly smoky with hints of honey and new oak. The taste is honeyed with vanilla and tobacco. A fresh and lightly spiced aftertaste. 43% - 70 cl.

The whisky is slightly smoky, as it primarily uses its own malted barley, which is subsequently smoked with local heather peat.
