Highland Park Limited Edition Single Cask 18 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

Highland Park's unique character is due to the peat used as fuel when drying the grain. This particular peat has absorbed salty waves for centuries and imparts a heather-like note to the whisky.

Highland Park 18 Year Old 2022 Single Cask Series Whisky is a unique and exclusive "limited edition single cask" release, bottled at 60% ABV.

Each bottle is drawn directly from a first-fill sherry-seasoned European oak cask, and this particular version has matured for 18 years in a carefully selected cask, Cask 4391.

Highland Park 18 Year Old 2022 Single Cask Series Whisky is complex with aromas of freshly picked pear, ginger, and sweet banana, among others. The taste offers notes of burnt cedar, spices, clove, toffee, gingerbread, and liquorice, with a long finish featuring citrus peel and peat smoke.

Gordon Motion, Master Whisky Maker, says the following about this special release: “There is an intensely balanced smoky sweetness that runs like DNA through our whisky, driven by Orkney’s unique peat. But every single cask of Highland Park is also completely unique, revealing its own distinct characteristics. Each year, I select a small number of the most exceptional casks for our single cask series, to celebrate the spirit of individuality and the true craftsmanship that lies at the heart of our whisky production.”

Only 565 bottles have been produced. This whisky is a true rarity. 60% - 70 cl.
