Highland Park Viking Scars 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky
Highland Park 10 Year Viking Scars' unique character is due to the peat used as fuel when drying the grain. This particular peat has absorbed salty waves for centuries and gives the whisky a heather-like note. Michael Jackson, author of many famous books on whisky, describes Highland Park as "the greatest all-rounder in the world of malt whisky". Highland Park 12 Year Viking Scars whisky is aged in oak casks for at least 10 years. Little by little, the whisky matures, whereby its fiery taste is mellowed, and the whisky achieves an unusually soft character. A gentle and time-consuming process that guarantees this whisky reaches its perfection. Highland Park Single Malt 10-year-old whisky has a glowing amber color. The aroma is citrus fruits, vanilla, pepper. The taste is light and round with a characteristic light smoke. 40% – 70cl.

The whisky is slightly smoky, as it primarily uses its own malted barley, which is subsequently smoked with local heather peat.
