Heaven's Door Double Barrel Whiskey

The man behind Heaven's Door Whiskey is music icon Bob Dylan, and the whiskey is named after his 1973 classic: "Knockin' On Heaven's Door". This Heaven's Door Double Barrel Whiskey edition was created in collaboration with none other than Marc Bushala, who was also behind Angel's Envy Bourbon.

Bob Dylan has a great love for American whiskey and wanted to create a collection of American whiskeys that each tell a story in their own way. "I've been traveling for decades and have had the opportunity to try some of the world's best whiskeys. This is fantastic whiskey," said Bob Dylan.

Heaven's Door Double Barrel Whiskey consists of a unique blend of two different straight bourbons and a straight rye. Each is aged independently in new oak barrels for at least five years before being blended and aged for an additional 6-12 months in custom-made Tonnellerie Radoux barrels that have been air-dried for 24 months, allowing the wood to develop its own unique character and complexity.

The aroma offers notes of maple with milled grains and a light hint of nuts, accompanied by dried berries, vanilla cream, and toasted oak. On the palate, caramel, dough, dark cherries, and Meyer lemon are experienced, balanced by dry oak, vanilla bean, and dried apricot. Notes of coconut, orange oil, and cocoa add complexity with woody overtones that complete the tasting experience. 50% ABV - 70 cl.
