Hampden LROK The Younger 2018 Pure Single Jamaica Rum has undergone an extra-long fermentation with natural yeast, after which it was distilled in a double retort copper pot still in 2018. The rum has since matured in a tropical climate in ex-bourbon casks until bottling in 2022. Although the rum is 'younger' at 4 years old, due to its tropical aging, it appears significantly older and has an angel's share of >28%. Hampden Estate The Younger 2021 is an LROK, which stands for Light Rum Owen Kelly, covering a high ester content of between 200 and 400 grams per hectoliter of pure alcohol. With an ester content of 370.1 g/hlpa, Hampden Estate The Younger 2022 hits the mark perfectly. The rum is a classic Jamaican rum with a delicate aroma of banana, mango, lacquer, and pepper, and taste notes of orange peel, pineapple, and cloves.
