Hampden 15 Years Pure Single Jamaican Rum
Hampden 15 Years Pure Single Jamaican Rum is the oldest rum release from Hampden Estate to date. It is an exceptional release that pays homage to Hampden's rum history, distillation methods, and aging techniques in the tropical climate. The "angel's share" is a significant 75%, which has contributed to the effective maturation and aromatic complexity, but consequently, not much of the precious liquid remained in the rum barrels.
The Hampden 15-year-old rum is produced under the LROK (Light Rum Owen Kelly) mark with an ester content of 200-400 g/hl. It has been aged in ex-bourbon casks.
When nosing this Hampden 15 Years Pure Single Jamaican Rum, rich notes of pepper, fig, almonds, walnuts, and honey emerge. The taste offers, among other things, mango, guava, petroleum, ginger, and cinnamon, along with floral notes in the aftertaste.
